Winter Olympics 2010 Begin
It will be nice to see some events tomorrow, because I can't wait for the opening ceremony to end. It had a few moments, but none were particularly memorable. It was good that they embraced all of their cultures, including the natives. Of course nothing could compare to the opening of the Summer Games in China which was, in my opinion, insuperable. I want to see Shaun White catch some air, and I want to see Apolo Ohno win more gold medals in short track, and I want to watch the figure skating, just for the artistry.
I like k.d.lang, but could she possibly have sung Hallelujah and more slowly? and, get a tailor, girlfriend. (Okay that was the snarky me coming out. Forgive me.)
I talked to G tonight, and her insurance company wants to cut her off and move her to a group home. I don't think so; she's not near ready to be with amateur caregivers. Her next move is to appeal that decision. So, for now, she stays put. Damned insurance companies.
Good Night, TTYL and Be Well,

Good Night, TTYL and Be Well,
I tried to watch the whole opening but ended up here instead wasting time on the computer LOL.
ReplyDeleteGosh I missed a slow version of Hallelujah! Darn.
I guess I will go look for a replay since I am wide awake and have nothing better to do.
Insurance companies - the almighty bottom line strikes again.
