Day the Tenth
Though I didn't officially register with them, I have taken the NaBloPoMo Challenge again this month. I took it in January, and announced it, and you saw how well that went. But I am saying it now because I have just successfully completed the 1/3 mark. So okay, it is a short month - but still, for me, ten straight days of posting is a big deal. I know I won't win any essay contests; I can't type as fast as I think I can think.(?) Merely managing to stay on topic is a minor miracle, what with how MS has addled my brain. I used to be a fairly decent writer (or so I'm told, I don't believe it), but these days it's hard to find an original thought in me. This is why I turned down a request to write a "Desperate Housewives" skit for my sorority's Spring meeting. I just can't do it. I can, and will, help tweak it when the draft is sent to me, but there is no way I could come up with the bones of a skit to save my life. Happily, the MS hasn't ta...
