This and that ...
I just watched this TED talk about consciousness which was interesting in and of itself, but what I found most interesting was the last five minutes - after his talk. Imagine if they could implant electrodes inside our damaged MS brains and let us strap on a receiver so we all could walk normally once again. Unfortunately, our world is still too greedy for this to happen - at least in my lifetime. What a long way we still need to go before we can consider ourselves evolved. Interesting, too, that he talked about brain plasticity.
