Happy February
I just want to get started with my NaBloPoMo for February, 2010. I couldn't manage to do it last month, and February is shorter, so it seems so much easier. I know you know what I mean. So, first an update of my friend who got hit by a car on Jan 12. After spending, I think, two weeks in Harborview in Seattle, she has been transferred to a rehabilitation center in Lynnwood which is close to one of her sisters. I had the opportunity to visit her last Friday by getting a ride with her brother who also lives in Tacoma, not far from me. It was great to see her. She was sitting up in a wheelchair and having lunch. Even though she has a nine inch scar that runs from ear to ear and across the top of her brow, it was not the first thing that I noticed. The first thing I noticed was her smile, and that made my heart glad. She had had a busy morning of PT with her legs, and was feeling it.
