Happy St. Patrick's Day

Hello new readers.  I'm glad to have you around. Please feel free to comment and let's get to know one another. What a week this has been! An earthquake rattled Japan (yes, I realize that technically that happened last week, but it was within the past seven days) and a tsunami came in and took away so much; nuclear reactors are damaged and malfunctioning; Sunday we got to turn the clocks ahead one hour :  Yippee more daylight in the evening!!; Monday was Pi day (this must be something important only to math majors, as I've never heard of it until Muffie wrote about it); and Tuesday was the fateful Ides of March that was so worrisome to Hamlet. Can you hear it? "Beware the ides of March..." Doom is looming. Even so, I feel pretty much the same as I always do, for better or worse, and my only concern is that I get to chair the meeting tomorrow, as our president has a lot on her plate this week.
