Sunday, bloody Sunday

Boy did I sleep in today. Once again my schedule is turned every which way. I may have been vampiric in another life, because I am drawn to, and feel most awake at three AM!

In the past two Summers, which were really warm, I so enjoyed sitting out on the patio at that time, playing on my laptop. I wonder how this Summer will be, given that this Winter has been very warm.

Anyway, my friend G, who was hit by the car, has come down with something, and she's not keeping food down and has become dehydrated, so she has been put back into Harborview for IV fluids and the appropriate meds. She was to meet with her Ortho docs on Wednesday anyway, so I guess she'll just stay there several days. I just hope she gets back on track sooner rather than later, and that this doesn't set back her rehab much. You know how rehab goes, two steps forward, one step back. Send her your positive energy, please.

And while you're sending positive energy, send some my way as well. I have a PT appointment tomorrow. I hate PT with a passion I reserve for few things, like lima beans, and destructive people, so all positive energy will be helpful, I'm sure.

I don't know what's gotten into me. I'm feeling all grouchy, and just re-reading what I have written makes me wonder about my state of mind. I definitely need an attitude adjustment. Perhaps I'll get one tomorrow at 3:30 at my PT appointment.

Good Night, TTYL, and Be Well,

  2. Positive thoughts, energy, and prayers all going going out for your friend.

PT you go girl! It will be just spiffy doodle and if it is not - blame it on someone else LOL
I type this while sitting here reminding myself why I a should get dressed and go to PE . ...

Now Lima beans - I never could understand how anyone could eat them - they taste like dirt. Then again given the choice I would probably choose to eat the dirt.

Let us know how it goes!

  3. Oh dear...I love lima beans. :-> Especially with lots of ham and cornbread! LOL.

I hate PT though. I would do your part for you...

  4. Lima beans are the Cadillac of legumes! I liken PT to having to go to a parole officer, no fun.

  5. awb - the Cadillac? Mais non! Lima beans are the gas guzzling Winnebago of legumes. But, to each his own. Having not had the pleasure of having to report to a parole officer, I think I see your point. It's a necessary evil.

Lisa, Jan and Sherry - thanks for coming by. Your kind thoughts are always welcome.
