As I Write This...
As I write this...
So Good Night, Sleep Well,
- DH is at the auto parts store getting a throttle position sensor for the OLDsmobile; he'll put it in tomorrow, but the car is running OK for now.
- I am paying my bills [who said I can't multi-task?].
- My bills are paid for the month, though groceries haven't been bought.
- Later tonight I think I will listen to one of my downloaded books and do some tangling.
- My Sakura Micron pens are running dry ... one...by...one...they're biting the dust. Need more pens, but need other things first.
- Like a new printer head for my printer.
- I need simple directions for how to scan my work, get it in my computer, and resize it so I can post it in my blog (or resize a photo, for that matter). I have a linux OS, if that makes any difference. Can I do this in with Gimp? How? I am barely 'puter literate, so DH won't tell me (again, and again until it sticks).
- I miss Have Myelin. Hope Sherry is doing well.
- I miss Zoomdoggies. I think she is doing well.
- I enjoy the MTV show Awkward. It's pretty well written, for an MTV show.
So Good Night, Sleep Well,

i use GIMP for everything... it's easy to do. when i scan an image, i can then open it in GIMP and adjust the brightness/contrast, scale the image to the size i want, and do a whole plethora of other things too....
ReplyDeletemy sakura's ran dry on me too... i started using pentel fine point pens and they work really well! they have a hard tip instead of the felt tip so they seemed to last a bit longer for me...
happy anniversary!!
Perhaps I will try Pentel next; They can't cost any more than Sakura! Copic markers cost a lot, too, alas.
DeleteAs for GIMP, I am just stoopid when it comes to programs like that. I forget to change tools and end up marking all over my page with my cursor (and other dumbness like that).
Fortunately, Blogger resized the picture for me! One of it's recent upgrades that it didn't have three weeks ago.
Happy Anniverary!!!! (I miss those bloggers too, but I know they will be okay. I hope.) Hey, we didn't do anything for our 33rd...not even any Chinese food this year!
ReplyDeleteYeah. We're taking our relationships for granted.
DeleteHappy Silver Anniversary! Our anniversary is coming up this month, too, and we'll 'celebrate' by babysitting the two grands while their parents see Jimmy Buffet. (I like those parrot head concerts!)
ReplyDeleteWish I could help you with your computer issues, but I just know how to work my own.
I, too, miss those bloggers -- and several others who seem to have disappeared. I always wonder why they just slip away!
Peace,
Muff
I slip away, too, 'cept I'm always around to comment. It's easier to comment than to write a coherent post.
DeleteWow... I finally make an appearance and I see my name. I had no idea.
ReplyDeleteThanks for missing me. It means a lot to me, did you know that? Really. It does. I had tears in my eyes reading that. Seriously. Thank you Webster. Wow...
It's called serendipity. Means you might want to post once in awhile. Just sayin'. ((hugs))
DeleteI just take photos of my stuff and post the photos. I don't have a scanner. And I know just enough about computers to be dangerous. :)
ReplyDeleteHappy Anniversary, here's to the next 25!!!
With more chips. :)
Definitely more chips.
DeleteOh... and regarding the pens. I do have a couple micron pens, but I also have gel pens from teeny tiny fine point to bold bold... and they all work VERY well for tangling.
ReplyDeleteGel pens, huh? I haven't had a lot of luck with my gel pens. I find that they tend to skip.
