What are your middle names? Mine is Ann and DH's is Mark, which I will give you because you don't know my last name.
How long have you been together? Since March 8th (?), 1986. We married August 8, 1987.
How long did you know each other before you started dating? Once we met, we started dating about a week later.
Who asked whom out? I placed a $25 personal ad in The Seattle Weekly and his was one of 12 replies. The ad read: Willing to barter - if you will teach me the I-Ching, perhaps I will laugh at your jokes. SWF 29 seeks intelligent, articulate, enigmatic, open-minded man, 25-35.
How old are each of you? Right now I'm 53, he's 52.
Whose siblings do you see the most? I guess that would be my brother in Tacoma.
Which situation is the hardest on you as a couple? His unemployment.
Did you go to the same school? No.
Are you from the same home town? Nope - he’s from a lot of places in the nearby area, incl. Seattle, I’m just from Seattle.
Who is smarter? He is more intelligent. He knows how things work. I’m smarter at knowing how people are, most of the time.
Who is the most sensitive? We both are, but in different ways.
Where do you eat out most as a couple? We don’t really eat out much; when we do, it tends to be at an ethnic restaurant. Preferably Indian.
Where is the furthest you two have traveled together as a couple? I guess the trip we took many years ago to Fresno, CA. where he applied to graduate school. He didn't end up going there, thank God. The summers would have killed me, and I would have missed the water.
Who has the craziest exes? Probably, I do.
Who has the worst temper? He does, but he gets over it pretty quickly.
Who does the cooking? I used to, now he does.
Who is the neat-freak? Neither of us. He's more the clean freak than I am, though. But I am the pack rat.
Who is more stubborn? Depends on the situation. I'm a Leo, he's a Taurus. We're true to type.
Who hogs the bed? Purnima, when I allow her to sleep with me. (Cats aren’t allowed in HIS bedroom because he’s a PRINCESS who must have his door closed at night, and who doesn't want to find cat hair, or heaven forbid, a flea in his room.) BTW, No cats on my bed during the summer season for that reason. [Separate bedrooms allow us both to sleep better, because he snores and my legs jump.]
Who wakes up earlier? Lately, he does. Ask me again in three months.
Where was your first date? We met for coffee at Boston Street Expresso, then went out to dinner at Julia's on Eastlake in Seattle.
Who is more jealous? He definitely has occasional completely unfounded flashes of jealousy which pisses me off no end. I am not jealous at all.
How long did it take to get serious? It was serious by summer, when I moved in with him.
Who eats more? He can eat more in one sitting than I can; I could probably put away more in a day if I really tried.
Who does the laundry? It defaults to him, because I can't do it anymore.
Who’s better with the computer? He is; I usually fuck mine up and then bitch at him ’til he fixes it.
Who drives when you are together? He does. He feels uncomfortable with my driving. SHADDUP.
