Prattle
I don't have much to offer you tonight, even though it has been almost a week since I've posted.
I just watched the debates for President and Governor, and neither changed my mind. I will be voting for Obama/Biden and for Chris Gregoire.
I've held my own this week, having had no other episodes of weakness like I had last week. I am attributing it to the cath. change I had that day. Sometimes just doing that can jiggle around little pockets, for lack of a better word, of "infected" urine, thus giving me the temporary symptom of a full blown infection. Since that night however, I have had no symptoms, and I never spiked a temp. Also, the office hasn't called to tell me I need to take an antibiotic - but that doesn't necessarily mean anything, because the back office there has some organizational issues.
Yesterday, on my way to the grocery store I stopped in, quite spontaneously, to get my hair trimmed. I am growing my bangs out and so haven't had a haircut since just before last Christmas. She took off about an inch and a half, and now when I pull it back it hangs about 3-4" longer than the band. I also had her gently frame around my face, from about eye level down. It doesn't look much different at all.
I've been told that long hair is inappropriate for women of a certain age, and to that I say, "Bah." When I was forty, I told my niece I wouldn't cut my hair until I was fifty. Well, I lied. I have been sporting a bob of varying lengths for years, with and without bangs. Now I'm going to see how long I can stand to grow it.
I really like the way the gray is coming in. It looks like it's been highlighted.
Good Night, TTYL and Be Well.
