A new follower!

Hi all. Lately I've been wondering if I was ever going to break the 39 mark. No, not my age. I broke that mark a looonngg time ago. But I have had 39 followers for what seems like ever. So you can imagine my surprise when I noticed today that I have 40. Welcome Laura! So far as I know, you don't have a blog of your own, or I would link you. But know that I won't take up much of your time because I'm typically not the daily writer. Actually that may be why my numbers remain so low; I don't know. In any case, I hope you stay and enjoy what you read.

Today was a lovely Fall day with temperatures in the mid-70's. I had made plans with DH (dear husband) to go for a stroll around the Nature Center at Snake Lake. We last went there a year ago on a warm late Summer day. And unfortunately we read the map wrong and ended up on a narrow and rooted less than accessible patch of trail where DH has to muscle me in my chair over some pretty thick tree roots on a narrow path in the woods. It turned out that instead of crossing over the bridge we were supposed to stay on the paved path to the west of the lake which continued for half a mile to the highway.

That was what we were going to do today. But I wasn't feeling well today. I am marginally sick from head to toe, and decided to just sleep it off. I have a sinus condition that doesn't seem to want to go away, I'm pretty sure I have a bladder infection (which goes with the territory of having a catheter); and I haven't had one in months so it's time for one. And I have a vaginal infection which I am treating. My feet have been alternating between freezing and burning (I prefer burning believe it or not). So, in addition to my usual cog fog I'm a mess! So I slept it off, and happy I did so.

It may or may not get up to 74 degrees again this year, but I'm sure we'll have a few more decent days when we can go out for a stroll. At least I can hope for one.

Good Night, TTYL, and Be Well,

  2. Hi

I guess I didn't realize I should be a "follower" to the wonderful blogs that I read, I am sure you have way more than 40 folks who follow your blog that didn't realize they should link up??

I am still thinking that we need to meet up in Fremont for Humbows!! Hope all is well Gretchen

PS: I will work on becoming a follower instead of a stalker some other day on other blogs. Have a great week!!

  3. Thanks Judy, I've checked her site.

Hi Gretchen, Following makes it easier to keep up on your favorite reads, is all.

MMMmm, hom bow. Have you ever gone to the I.D.? Ocean City has a dim sum buffet for $9 - all you can eat! That's cheap, and it's not bad.
