I think I can live with this

For a few days, at least. It's tiring scrolling through photos and trying them out to see how they will work tiled this way or that. So you have flowers for awhile. I did have a tree tiled and liked that, so I might change back. We'll see.

Last night I finished The Tiger's Wife by Téa Obreht, which I enjoyed very much even though there was a lot of it I don't think I understood very well. It seemed a tad too allegorical to me, and I wanted some Cliff's notes to refer to at times (MS brain issues no doubt), but the stories some of the characters told were so mesmerizing, I could have listened for hours. It is set in Bosnia, and spans several lives, especially in one family, and the secrets many of them have kept over many years. Even though the book contains scenes of violence, I would recommend it.

Before that, I read The Good Son by Michael Gruber. It was told in three narratives - A Pakistani-American son, his Jungian psychologist Mother who is kidnapped with a group of therapists,  and the Pakistani jihadists who are holding them captive. These stories are intricately woven together to an ending which will satisfy anyone who likes action and mystery along with some (not quite historical) fiction.

Okay, to be honest here, I have just distracted myself with a side journey to etsy.com where I have been lusting after some jewelry - earrings if you must know. I had to leave because I started filling my shopping cart and, well, there are a few thing I NEED to buy before I indulge in more earrings. If you know what I mean. You all have your weaknesses, too; I can just imagine.

Good night, TTYL, and Be Well,
