Hello Peeps

I just got home from PT. I chose not to do the AquaCiser today because we were running late and didn't have time to change clothes, etc. Also, last time it kicked my ass (figuratively, not literally), and I didn't need that today. Why? you might ask. Because this weekend is ESA convention, and my Chapter is putting it on - so that means three relatively early and busy days ahead for me.

Remember, I am nocturnal by nature and habit. Getting out of bed at the butt-crack of dawn is not my idea of a refreshing start to an amazing day. But I will do my best to drag myself down to the continental breakfast by 7:30 AM Saturday and Sunday. Oh, so looking forward to that. On a positive note, I will be taking my w/c with me this time which will make things a lot easier and I won't be wasting a lot of energy walking. Even using a walker, hotel hallways can be very long. Also, I will be using pharmaceuticals if necessary.

On the reading front, I just finished Saving CeeCee Honeycutt by Beth Hoffman; it was set in Ohio in the 1960's and focused on a girl whose Mother was bi-polar and whose Father was a traveling salesman. After her Mom dies, she goes to live with a great aunt who lives in Savannah Georgia. It was delightful to listen to while crocheting. Now I am listening to After by Amy Efaw, about a girl who gives birth and dumps the baby in a dumpster, gets arrested, and goes to trial for it. It takes place in my city, Tacoma WA, so that adds a bit more local flavor. And I just went by the library to pick up Ella Minnow Pea- A progressively lipogrammatic epistolary fable by Mark Dunn. It was recommended to me as a very amusing read, but I notice that the font it is printed in is very fine, so if my eyes can stand it, and it catches my attention, I will get into it.

So, now I have to figure out what clothes I need for the long weekend, and pack my bag, then take a shower and wash my hair. Then I will be ready to watch the season finale of Grey's Anatomy, and crochet awhile before trying to go to bed by 1:00 AM.

Good Night, TTYL, and Be Well,
