What's Happenin' Lately
HAPPY FALL EVERYBODY!
Isn't it amazing how fast it has made it through this season? I used to love kicking though the leaves that weren't swept up on the sidewalks, and collecting horse chestnuts and buffing them to a nice shine. When I was a kid I planted several right next to the side of our house, and my Mom got mad at me because by then then, in one year, they were two feet tall! At least they were easy to pull out.
I've had a rough patch lately with more optic neuritis. This is impacting both my blogging and my reading of all those mysteries and 1000 books DH loaded on my laptop.Talk about bad timing. Fortunately I have had the occasional day when the ON abates and I can read or do the Zen thing, but I have to be careful because I am also noticing a bit of double vision. My MS sucks for sure.
Right now I am working on a 9x11 piece which I plan to mat and frame to hang somewhere; perhaps in the hall or maybe in my bedroom. Since no one ever comes to visit me I'm thinking the bedroom, but the hall would be nice to eventually have a series of them in different sizes from the 3 1/2 " ones to the 4" ones to some 5x7s or 4x8s and around a 9x11, all with a blue mat which is opposite of the gold in the wallpaper in the hall and finished with a thin black frame. Of course I have to look at them before I buy to see if that looks okay.
So, watching T.V. on the computer, OT, PT, & Wound Care and reclining in my new chair doing the things I've just mentioned - that's what's been happening lately.
Be Well,
P.S. Thus goes my 400th blog post.

MS is a very sucky beast indeed. And I hope yours backs off a bit and gives you some respite.
ReplyDeleteI am hoping so, too.
DeleteHi
ReplyDeleteI hadn't seen the last 3 + posts you had written! I am so sorry you have been having such a rough time. I am thrilled to hear you are getting both OT and PT at
PT signed off Tuesday. DH got a lesson, but we'll see how that goes. He does some things fantastically well; others, not so much.
DeleteI am so far behind in my blog reading that I am thinking of chucking it for a book instead!
Hey, keep going. 400 is nothing to sneeze at!!
ReplyDeleteI hope your vision improves soon, it sounds really awful to deal with. Good to hear from you. :)
As you, Ami. I so admire the patience you show to your kids, I hope your latest tool will be gone for awhile.
DeleteSounds like you have a good method for sharing the pie duties!
