Oh Captain, My Captain
Yesterday I watched Mrs. Doubtfire "I saw him; I think it was a run by fruiting"; today it was Dead Poet's Society, in memory of Robin Williams. What a fantastic performance. I don't know why, but it surprises me how rigid and ignorant many people are. This movie brought me to tears in the end. I couldn't help it. Sniff, Sniff.
I guess it's on to another one on the list. I will check to see what's available on www.tubeplus.me where I go to watch TV and movies for free. Makes me wonder why I am paying $20 just to be connected to regular TV which we so rarely watch.
TTYL,

Nothing like being up late or early as the case might be
ReplyDeleteSpeaking of losing comments (I know you wrote that), your most recent comment that I approved went missing! Hope it shows up soon, somewhere.
DeleteI am now trying google avoidance to see if my comments stop disappearing hear and on other blogger/blogspot bolgs. I am starting to get paranoid LOL
DeleteI'll have to check out that website! Thanks.
ReplyDeleteIt is a boon for those of us who can't afford other options. All it misses is local news, which you CAN find via Googling your local station and bookmarking it. But I don't watch local news for anything but the weather.
DeleteI find movies difficult. I need to stop and think about things - and go back. Which is fine if I am at home and watching on my own.
ReplyDeleteAnd the reason why books are my go to rather than movies or TV.
And there are some books which I read, and reread knowing that I will weep.
So many books, too little time. I am a sloooww reader. Also I need new glasses, which is part of the problem.
DeleteAlso, I read a book, then go see the movie, and usually am so disappointed with what they did with the screenplay.
We watched Birdcage, such a shame
