Another Appointment...
... and she piles on more work! This time the exercises are for upper body strength, using a TheraBand. And she says she'll find more for me to do. BUT, I am to concentrate on the Roll for Control and walking every day for a (small) period of time, increasing each day by 5 seconds. If I'm having a bad day, I am to break up the walking into smaller walks that I can handle until I reach my current time. Then I can pick and choose from all the other exercises, doing 1-3 daily. So that's PT.
I also got into the gym Monday, and worked out on a What'sitcalled thing. And as I was sitting moving my legs up and down, I glance out the window and what do I see? SNOW. Fortunately, or not, depending on your perspective, it didn't even think of sticking, but it sure was pretty.
Today was cath change day. I walked in and out of the office and I am counting that as my walking for the day. It was longer than my target time amount of 30 seconds, but I wasn't keeping track. Tomorrow I have to walk for 35 seconds. Whoopie!
Be well, all,

Be well, all,
You really do a great job of describing the exercises. I can visualize the whole thing.
ReplyDeleteNow to apply them....
Hi Herrad, Thanks again for the award which I have yet to put up. Been busy walking (heh, NOT really - but it sounds like a good excuse, no?
ReplyDeleteYes Sherry, now to apply them. I thought of putting the sheets with the pictures of them beneath my pillow at night and reaping the rewards by osmosis.
